We do not do insurance billing for two reasons: 1) Sliding scales make heads explode at insurance companies: “What do you mean one patient is $20 and another is $35?!?” 2) Our rates would have to be higher to account for all the time insurance billing takes, making that whole affordable thing tough. As it is now, our rates are on par with many people’s co-pays anyway!
